I use XVI32 
http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delphi/freeware/xvi32/xvi32.htm , but I 
think something better should be found on the web

Please check on the wiki, 2 flavours have been used, I don't know what 
should be "officially" sponsorized or if any assembler is ok.

I would suggest using Dev-C++ (which uses gcc/mingw32), or a plain text 
editor. I personally use everything.

We should use s1emu, still incomplete (CVS 
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/s1mp3/s1emu/ )

We will probably build our own tools if really needed...about 
documentation: please track the important wiki documents (or create new) 
to allow who knows nothing to get the needed knowledge. He should be 
able to work with us within 5 minutes from the approach to the 
Walkthrough, following the core links. We may refine it in later stages.
