Well, Alastair... What do you fancy? [leggy blondes not available
with _current_ project funds]
Java, ADA, JSP, PHP & SQL are only really relevant to the web site -
and that's Wlad's territory.
If assembler is not your bag, then we're down to C.
We're one step away from being able to write C code at the moment
...which is (all together now) an API ...That is, you can write a
bunch of logic (say a game, a menu system, a disk browser, etc) but
you can't actually interact with the hardware (screen, buttons,
memory, dsp, etc.)
Did I answer yet? If not. What we need to know next is:
What functions would you like to have available for interacting with
...the screen, the buttons, etc. etc. ?
Once we know what functions we need ...the gurus can get to writing
the techie side, and the coders/designers can get to with writing the
stuff Users will get to play with.
How do you fancy reading the deabte on the Screen API and summarising
our work so far with your opinion thrown in? Then perhaps we can
conclude this and move onto the Buttons etc.
I, for one, want to get to the coding asap.
